Dr. Brooke Wolf is a psychiatrist certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology who has years of experience in treating patients suffering from mental disorders. She specializes in psychopharmacology and psychodynamic psychotherapy to treat adults who deal with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, and ADHD. She has developed a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed social workers, and licensed clinical counselors, who often work collaboratively to help individuals, couples, and families cope better with their challenges and improve their relationships.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan, Dr. Wolf trained on both coasts before returning to her hometown to practice. She attended Yale University Medical School, then completed her medical degree at Temple University Medical School. She did her internship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, then her psychiatric residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. She served as a consultant to the juvenile court in Los Angeles, then returned to Cleveland where she worked in the outpatient department of Metro General Hospital, at the Geauga County Mental Health Center, and as a consultant at Geauga Hospital before beginning her private practice.
Dr. Wolf is currently Director of Psychiatry at Hillcrest Hospital. She is a past president of the Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association where she currently serves as Practice Committee Chairman. She is a member of the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland and Northern Ohio and of the Ohio State Medical Association, where she has been an advocate for better treatment of patients and physicians by health insurance companies. She is a member of the Executive Committee of Doctors Organized for Healthcare Solutions, a group of physicians advocating for meaningful healthcare reform.
